Who is God to you?

Updated: Mar 25

Welcome to Walid Rafo Advice!

I am a Spiritual Counsellor and I have opened up this site to help those in need. Specifically, those who are encountering certain obstacles in life. It is a great blessing to be in this position. A position where I can help others just as Christ has helped others. Most things I have had experience with, and others I have learned from. Either way, I do not answer questions I am not knowledgable of. I will take my time to respond if I must. Either way, I will make sure that your question is answered as soon as possible, and to get you the assistance you need through my writing.

Our Father who dwells in heaven is the most important to my life and should be for you too. He is the most loving father, he is filled with kindness and mercy, he is very forgiving. The most important part of my life is the Lord. He is the only one who will protect me from all evil and dirty spirits and all harm. He is the only one who will provide my family and I during my times of need. When I have the Lord in my heart, for the rest of my life I will be saved. Especially when I respect and obey him. When I honor his ten commandments. When I honor him. I can never let go of the Lord from my mind. He will forever dwell in me.

Who is God to me? He is the creator of heaven and earth. He is my maker. He breathed in me his spirit and gave me life. He has always taken care of me as a child with his parents. He blesses me with his Holy Spirit and fills me with good health. Any prayer I pray through him, in the name of Jesus his son, he has heard my prayer and answered. I resist sin because of how much I love the Lord. The Lord is who he is. The one and only, the alpha and the omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end, the power of all things, the seen and unseen. God the almighty Father. The highest light father in heaven and in the earth.

I love the Lord more than myself, more than my family, and more than anybody in this earth. I love him above all things! The Lord has stood with me my entire life. Whenever I needed he granted it to me. He knows that all my life I have tried my best to never dissapoint him or let down his heart. I am always showing him love and respect. I trust in him with all that I am. I have hope in him. I die for the Lord. As much as I say I love him, it is never enough. I feel the need to express it more. That is how much the Lord means to me and my beautiful family.

I will never let go of the Lord, nor will I let him remove his hand from me. I will keep him with me as long as eternity goes (which is forever), because I know that he is the greatest in my heart and forever will be.

When I was at my lowest moments in life, I had no one. There was no one that was willing to stand with me except for the Lord. Most of the days that pass, I am filled with tears when I think of him. When I was younger I dissapointed the Lord through my sins. I repented and confessed twenty five years ago. I started serving in the Holy Mass and begged the Lord for forgiveness always. In the same way he has forgiven me I will forgive others. After I establishe this type of thinking he revealed to me his glory in all that he is. This is in all truth I have spoken.

The Lord is eternal. He is the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen.

I don't know how to thank the Lord, day through night, for what he has done for me. He has blessed me and guided me and continues to lead me towards his holy light and arms. He has saved me from all darkness, through his Son, Jesus Christ. Pray as often as you can to him, and never cease! If you are disturbed, pray to the Lord to destroy all wickedness in and around you. To continue praying in your faith and hope. Show the Lord love always, just as he loves you. You are being watched without rest. His hand is on top of you and protects you.

My Father woke up during the morning, and was thinking about the dream the whole day. He always wanted to have a son first, but this revelation says that his first child will be a daughter.

About a month later, my father brought into the house a hand carved cross by a Ukrainian friend of ours. This cross cost $3,000. This cross is one of a kind. It is absolutely spectacular in the way it looks. It looks so real that when we invited a well-known priest to our home, he knelt on the ground as soon as he saw the crucifixion, and said "The presence of our Lord Jesus Christ is here." He spent half an hour on his knees and didn't want to leave the room where the crucifixion dwelt. Please see the picture at the bottom of this blog for the image of the crucifixion.

My father was so glad that he brought this 7 foot crucifixion into the home. He put the blood on the cross because he didn't appreciate it being a plain image with no blood. He said, "Anyone who looks at the cross should be reminded of the suffering Jesus had to go through for us."

On the same night that my father brought the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ into the home, he received another dream. Our most blessed Mother Mary appeared in the form of a dream again. She said, "My child, because you have brought the crucifixion of my son into your home, I will gift you what your heart desires. Your firstborn child will be a son, and your second child will be a daughter."

When my father woke up from this dream, he was very happy. I think that was the first time I saw anyone dancing of happiness that early in the morning! So, It turned out that the message he received was right. First I was born, and then 11 months after me, my sister was born.

This was the very first dream our family had received. A gift from our Blessed Mother Mary, to her children.

In life, things might not be going the way we want things to go. We have to trust in God's plan. My family and I were blessed to receive this revelation. However, there are many families that don't receive revelation at all. There is certainly nothing wrong with that. If you are someone who has never received revelation, that doesn't make God's love for you and I any different. God loves us all unconditionally. God loves us all beyond words can express.

In the case of my father here, he wanted a son first, but got confronted with revelation that he will have a daughter. He wasn't upset, but gladly accepted this revelation. Who can confront the almighty Lord or the Blessed Mother Mary and say, "No"?

Afterwards, because God saw his acceptance of having a daughter, he blessed my father as he originally wanted. First, he gave him a son, me. Then, he gave him a daughter. We have to trust and accept Gods plan for us in all circumstances.

There are others who go through much difficult trials than the one I just mentioned here today. The question is, what are we expected to do? No matter how difficult, we have to trust and accept what we are confronted with.

I see too often today many people abandoning the faith because they aren't getting what they want. Remember, God isn't Santa clause. He is your father. A loving and just father in heaven who knows what is best for you.

Thank God for any trials and sufferings you go through, especially if it is because it's for him. Be glad! Don't worry and trouble yourself over what is going on in the world. You find great happiness when you think about the afterlife and not the physical life.

In the physical world we are born, live and then die. In the afterlife, we live on forever. You can choose your destiny. Live a life on earth accepting whatever God gives to you. God loves you, and he will never abandon you. He loves you with a great love, and don't you forget that!

Giving your time to God. Please the Lord as much as you can by showing him love. In the same way he loves you, all he asks is that you love him also. Just the love of God alone should be enough to make you happy. He is the only one that will love you the way he does. No other person will love you as he loves you. He is the only one that will open multiple doors of goodness for your life and future. He will be the one to make your personality and reputation greater, through respect and love.

Filling your day with prayer. Pray to the Lord always. Never let the day go by without prayer. The Lord loves this. Pray to our blessed Mother Mary and receive her intercession through her dearest son, Jesus Christ. Afterall, he did choose her to be the mother of us all. She was annointed to be the Mother of God. She is our true mother.

Prayer allows you to live a happy life because you live closer to God. It fills you with love, joy, peace and happiness with others and with yourself. Prayer brings peace to your soul, mind, and body. It teaches you to use your tongue and words for the glory of God. Prayers teach us to think twice and understand that emotions are connected to our words. This is very important especially in public.

Open your heart to others and help one another. The same way God has helped you, do the same for others and make them happy. Give respect to the Lord and his commandments. Follow and obey his rules. They are set in place by his words. Let his words be engraved in your heart and mind everywhere you go.

Mention the name of the Lord and never be ashamed of him. He is the only one that can save you during your time here on earth, and he will protect you from all harm.

Always be positive. Never give up from your faith and hope and trust in Jesus. Think good and remember that there is always a way. Things may seem difficult but with the help of God nothing is impossible. Avoid any negativity that comes in your way. These things will distort your path and will bring anger and disturbances to your life. Avoiding negativity will always bring you happiness.

When negativity enters your mind, throw it into the sea and continue thinking positive. Do not let the wicked trap you. Always be in the presence of the Lord and he will guide you. Before you do anything, pray and seek wisdom and guidance. Ask the Lord to help you get on the right path. This will bring you great happiness along your journey in life.

Welcome the Holy Spirit into your everyday life. When his spirit dwells in you, you will be filled with wisdom, knowledge and understanding. You will know the differences between good and bad, right and wrong. You will know where to go and what to stay away from.

Wisdom is a key to living a happy life because it prevents you from entering into the realm of evil where it will always bring you sadness, and wisdom will guide you to eventually reaching God's true desire and will for your life. Wisdom pushes you away from darkness just like the wind in one direction.

The main key to happiness is embracing the love God has for you, and in return giving him the love of yourself. If you want to live a happy life, live in the Lord and he in you. This, is how you will live the happiest years of your life.

This is a beautiful question and I am glad that you asked it! The priority to a healthy relationship is to refrain from sinning. He is the only one that created you. He blesses you always with his right hand and gives you new life daily. Sin is what destroys our relationship with God. When you were baptized, the Holy Spirit entered into you. From that point in time, we grew older and came to know sin. Before you began sinning you were a true child of the Lord.

However, as we grow older we committed more sins and experienced life and what it had to offer. We went unto a different direction with the wrong crowd and committed to sin. You began to grieve the Holy Spirit and his work in you, and you welcomed the presence of the dirty spirit. When you stay away from Jesus and lose your relationship with him, you will struggle greatly with many battles. Why? Because you are on the wrong path. There will be wrong things that you are doing.

The main things for the Lord is to have a healthy and beautiful relationship with him. First, always love the Lord with everything that you are. Just as he will always love you more continue to grow your love for him. Second, accept Jesus and carry him with you everywhere you go. The one who was crucified for the forgiveness of your sins loves you and wants you to be with him always, especially in making it into his kingdom. This is the true love of the Lord.

Pray to the Lord and give praise to his holy name without ceasing. Give him great thanks for his glory. Never have enough of worshipping the Lord. Kneel on your forehead before your knees. An expression used to emphasize how deeply you desire the Lord. Always make time for the Lord just as he always has time to listen to you. Even if it is in the middle of the night. This is our true father!

Light a candle for him and say a prayer. Offer any sacrifice for the Lord and give it for people in his name. Honor him in any way that you can. When you sit and pray talk with the Lord and conversate with him. Ask and say whatever it is that is inside of your heart. He loves you and he will always be there for you and to listen to you. Never be afraid to express yourself to him.

Say to him, "Lord, I am your child. I was weak before and committed myself to many sins. I am going through so much in this life. Now, I have returned to you and I ask you to shepherd me from this day forward. I open my heart to you as I also open my door for your loving presence and heart. In anything that you ask from me will be done here on earth. Your word I will remain in until the end of time. I only ask that you bless me, guide me, lead me, and be with me all the days of my life. Do not leave or abandon me. Protect me from all harm and evil that approaches me today or tomorrow. Bless me with your Holy Spirit and let your right hand be on top of my head and all that I do. Let me have a strong relationship with the most loving sacred heart of Jesus. Let me have a strong bond with my dearest loving Mary. With all the prophets and saints and angels who are in heaven. Let me be well with my relationships on earth with all those who know me. Through you I have been blessed and forgiven. Just as you have done for me, I will do to others the same. I will show them your great love and mercy. No matter what has happened in my life, I will never leave you again. Now I know that you are my true father. I will never let down your heart again. I need you and I want you, Father. I love you and I die for you with all of my heart. Please, in the same way you forgave me, forgive all sinners. Just as you rescued me, rescue them. Amen."

Jesus is the manifestation of God’s offer of life and love to all the believers since that Jesus is his son. He cares no less for those who are His disciples today. His promises are still valid; His power has not diminished; and His person is unchanging. We do not have the benefit of His physical presence, but we have His Spirit.

God loves his believers so much that He gave His most priceless possession, the most cherished thing He had, Jesus. God is pictured in His Son, Jesus, a Man Who loved everybody, even the poorest and the worst of all. He came for love and lived in love and died for love that we might live and love forever!

Jesus showed the way to heaven, by following his teachings. Jesus showed life after death when he resurrected from the death. Jesus taught Christians for God to give you life after death, you have to prove your faith by actions and putting the teachings of Jesus into a Christians daily life. So Christians did this.

And although we cannot see Jesus, we can sense His love for us as the Spirit shed it abroad in our hearts. In many ways, we know Him better than if we knew Him from His mere physical presence. As Peter wrote, “Though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory.

In John Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath, Steinbeck uses several characters and situations to symbol something greater. The character, Jim Casy, is portrayed as an allegorical figure that represents Jesus Christ. Casy’s ideals and beliefs are very similar to those of Jesus Christ. Jim Casy is used to represent Jesus Christ, and to give the people going through a hard time a glimpse of hope and strength.

It’s like what modern Christianity would call conviction. You feel convicted and suffer the consequences but you strive to be so much like Jesus that you correct the wrong and get back on track. Jesus was the only example of someone who understood the divine nature of mankind because he was sent being used by God as an example for men.

God sent his son Jesus to earth to help and gather God’s believers and to show them how God loves them and also to help cure their sickness. God is the great Spirit of Love Who created this beautiful World and the entire Universe! To show us His Love and to help us understand Himself, He sent His Own Son to Earth.

Lastly, both Jesus Christ’s and Jim Casy’s beliefs are spread after their deaths. When Jim Casy is brutally murdered, Tom Joad vows to spread Casy’s beliefs onto more people. Jesus Christ and Jim Casy share many similarities, a few being in their names, their love for humanity, their wilderness experiences, and their sacrifices.

Jesus interpreted the law so that the people would be made righteous through obedience to the law. Even Jesus said “For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven” (Matt 5:20). Moreover, He interpreted the law in a new light which offers mankind a view into the holy heart of God.

Ashley on the other is attracted physically to Scarlett but he isn’t sure whether he she for her. Both of this people are married. What they did, according to Jesus, they Committed Adultery! Matthew 5:27-29 says (Jesus) ‘but now I tell you: anyone who looks at a woman and wants to posses to her is guilty of committing adultery with her in his heart!’ So, both Scarlett and Ashley committed adultery and according to Jesus, Matthew 5:29-30 ‘so if you right eye causes you to sin, take it out and throw it away!…It is better than you to lose apart of your body than to go to hell!’ How I get is, Jesus would have advised to stop what they, to tell to show them that they were committing sins in the eyes of our God the creator.

Steinbeck portrays Jim Casy as Jesus Christ. The first notable comparison between them would be their initials. Both Jesus Christ and Jim Casy have the same initials. They also both have a strong love for humanity and saw the good in people. Jim Casy let people around him know that it shouldn’t be God that they should lean on, but on each other.

Jim Casy is a symbol of Jesus Christ. He is used to give his fellow people hope and strength by working together. He has several similarities with Jesus Christ in his life and even in his death. His beliefs and ideas provide hope and strength for those in need. Steinbeck used Jim Casy to give the Okies some spirit to carry on and look forward to a brighter future.

Jews do not believe that Jesus was divine, the Son of God, or the Messiah prophesied in Jewish scriptures. He is seen as a “false messiah,” someone who claimed the mantle of the Messiah but who ultimately did not meet the requirements laid out in Jewish beliefs. Christians believe that Jesus will come back to Earth to save/protect them.

Both Jesus Christ and Jim Casy also sacrificed themselves to protect others. Tom Joad, who already committed the crime of breaking his parole and leaving Oklahoma, knocked out a deputy. He was then instantly put in the danger of going back to prison. Jim Casy selflessly offers to take the blame and go to jail instead of Tom so that Tom would be able to lead the family.

Basically if you are bad it will come back at you. People who practice Buddhism are very peaceful and sometimes meditate. They live with harmony in hopes of achieving Nirvana and being reincarnated into a good next life. Like Buddhism, Christianity’s founder was not born Christian. The founder, Jesus Christ, was born Jewish in Israel.

In this passage we shall examine four aspects, relating to Jesus and the law, which are; Jesus proclaims the law; Jesus’ interpretation of the law; Jesus’ fulfillment of the law; and Jesus and the law today. Jesus Proclaims the Law To understand the scripture found in Matthew we must recognize that in this time and in this place Jesus was speaking to the people during the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus was teaching the law of the old covenant because he had not died yet, and so the new covenant was not yet in practice.

Even the seemingly civilized Ralph and Piggy are not as civilized as they appear, as we see when they participate in the hunters’ dance that kills Simon. Simon can also represent Jesus because of his confrontation with the Lord of the Flies, who can represent the devil. The confrontation between the two can be seen as a parallel to Jesus’ confrontation with the devil during Jesus’ forty days in the wilderness.

But it is Jesus’ fulfillment of the law that gives us this gift of choice. It is God’s sacrifice of His only Son, who was made to suffer as flesh, blood and bone on this earth at the hands of the very beings He was sent to die for. It was Jesus’ fulfillment of the law that allows us to entertain the possibility of seeing God.

He was the second son of Dr. Vicente de Jesus who was the first director of the Kawanihan ng Kalinisan, and his mother was a kapampangan namely Mrs. Susana Pangilinan. He had twins, Vicente Jr, the elder and Rosa, the younger. In their family, Jose Corazon de Jesus is closer to his mother because he is sickly.

The Gospel of Mark was written in colloquial Greek, in a vigorous, dramatic style. It presents Jesus Christ as a man of action and power who performed miracle and other mighty deeds, a human being and yet the Son of God. Mark says nothing about the birth and boyhood of Jesus. The Gospel has three divisions.

In the Sermon of the mount, Jesus also stated what he considered the perfect prayer this was called “The Lord’s Prayer”. This was simply what you should quote if ever you prayed. In the Sermon at Benares, Buddha listed what was called “The Four Noble Truths”. These were known as the important principles in Buddhism.

If we look at no other scripture than Matthew 5:17-48 we can clearly define the role of the law and Jesus’ participation in the law. For in this scripture we see Jesus proclaim the law, Jesus interpret the law for all of mankind, Jesus fulfilled the law; and Jesus make the law applicable today, and forever and always. Works Cited Bruegemann, Walter.

Isaiah predicted that Jesus would teach the law“for the sake of his righteousness, to magnify his teaching and make it glorious” (Isa. 42:21). And this Jesus did for the sake of the Lord’s righteousness. Jesus’ Fulfillment of the Law Jesus came in fulfillment of the law. Jesus said Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.

It was during this balagtasan that Jose Corazon de Jesus, known as Huseng Batute, emerged triumphant to become the first king of the Balagtasan. Jose Corazon de Jesus was the finest master of the genre. He was later followed by balagtasistas, Emilio Mar Antonio and Crescenciano Marquez, who also became King of the Balagtasan in their own time.

On Religious Matters      Jesus concludes his story with the father’s appeal to his older son: “Child, you have always been with me, and all the things that are mine are yours; but we just had to enjoy ourselves and rejoice, because this your brother was dead and came to life, and he was lost and was found.” Jesus thus leaves unresolved what the older son eventually does. Indeed, later, after Jesus’ death and resurrection, “a great crowd of priests began to be obedient to the faith,” possibly including some of these of the “older son” class to whom Jesus is here speaking. In modern times, the implication of the illustration preferably refers to those individuals who have naturally noted that they were with God or they are doing things accordingly to the principles of the supreme one.

Jesus and the Law: An Ancient Text in a Postmodern Context In looking at Jesus and the law we must acknowledge that Jesus is the fulfillment of the old covenant. Every theme in the Old Testament points forward towards Jesus. The law is the character of God written in a language which human beings can understand.

Man can go directly to God. Since God is perfect man can also become perfect because of that access they have to him. Many denominations of the Christian religion teach the human to aim to be like Jesus, in doing so the person is just like Jesus and develops that perfection identified with Jesus. The moment you stray from this virtue that God and nature gives you, you’re instantly aware of it.

However, she never beg the Misfit to spare her family, she just pleads for her own life. In her conversation with the Misfit, she tells him, “If you would pray…Jesus would help you.” She calls on “Jesus” a number of times, but I am not sure if she means “Jesus will help you” or “she might be cursing” as she begs the Misfit “not to shoot a lady.” Plus, for one moment just before she dies, the old lady doubts Jesus, or at least feels abandoned: “Maybe he didn’t raise the dead”. It is an understandable reaction, after the colossal shock she has undergone: she knows that her family has been massacred.

Instead, save riches for yourselves in heaven.” Jesus taught that the greatest laws were the simplest: love God and love your neighbour. He also said about loving others, “love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, so that you will become the sons of your Father in heaven.” Although there are many varying moral guidelines, the basic attitude to life in both Buddhism and Christianity is not based on rules but on an unconditional love for all beings. Christians believe that as Jesus travelled all over Galilee preaching, he also performed many miracles.

Jesus also took the second avenue available to a man of flesh by dying for our sins. The law demanded death for anyone who did not live in obedience to it, and He died on behalf of everyone whose obedience waned. Therefore Jesus was the fulfillment of the law and through Him we can find life and not death if we chose to walk with him along the avenues of life.

The antonym for pride is humility. Humility is the actions and thoughts of being humble and modest. Humility was a character trait that Jesus exemplified perfectly. In John 13 we find an example of humility; Jesus knelt down and washed His own disciple’s feet. Jesus did all this with a grateful heart and attitude of humility.

One recommendation of the boob is that ministers should use Jesus like an example to them of how to treat the trauma/ crisis victims. This is because Jesus portrayed his ability to accept those individuals who were hurting. In this regard, Jesus was able to help and love individuals through their grief through this acceptance.

During the Sermon on the Mount Jesus gave examples of how tradition had been used to set aside the real intent of the Law. For example he said; You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be children of your Father in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous (Matt 5:43-45). If the people are obedient to laws which were not given by God then disobedience results, which leads to separation from God.

Major Themes: The major theme of the book in the words of Pope is “Many other signs therefore Jesus did in the presence of His disciples, but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and that believing you may have life through His Name” (20.30-31) (John, The Gospel of Life: Evangelium Vitae, 1995). The themes can be put in three categories as: “Many other signs Jesus did in the presence of His disciples.” “That you may believe that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah), the Son of God.” “That believing you might have life through His Name.” According to the Gospel of Life, there is increased danger of threats to life, such as abortion and immoral practices on human embryos and euthanasia. According to the Gospel of Life, all the processes or things that oppose life, such as any type of murder, genocide, euthanasia, or abortion, or the violence on human lives and oppose the integrity and grace of lives of human should be stopped at any cost.

His teaching is the basis of Baptist today. His life is told in only the Gospels and not much is really known about the man who came before Jesus to preach the word of God and of Jesus’ coming. INTRODUCTION: John the Baptist practiced preaching and baptizing Jews in the river Jordan. He was the one who recognized Jesus as the messiah and baptized him.

The law demanded perfection, and Jesus was certainly encouraging people to pursue perfection. Jesus pursued this same perfection and was not without temptation. He was flesh and blood. Jesus was a human being with all of our frailties, needs, and desires. He was as much a human as any human being on earth.

Without happiness one cannot experience joy. When Satan was cast to hell he developed a strong hatred towards God. Paradise Lost described Satan’s attitude of “steadfast hate,” toward God and men. In contrast, Matthew 5:44 states “…love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Jesus modeled love daily in His life and also through His dying; He covered all our sins even though we were unworthy of His everlasting love.

He suffered persecution and trouble as is evident in his words “Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely” (Matt 5:11). Jesus knew how it felt to be persecuted. He was not without compassion for mankind. Yet, He knew that perfection could only be found in practicing obedience to the law, which is why He went willingly to the cross.

” This quotation suggests that he has angered the heavens and makes a religious reference to the betrayal of sacrifice of Jesus. Similar to the betrayel of Jesus, he has betrayed Desdemona’s pure qualities and love. There is irony involved because he killed Desdemona who had the qualities of a Saint who was always willing to forgive Othello for his actions.

When the Misfit answers, “No, Ma’am,” the grandmother starts to try to talk her way out of death. “Jesus! ” the old lady cried. “You’ve got good blood! I know you wouldn’t shoot a lady! I know you come from nice people! Pray! Jesus, you ought not to shoot a lady. I’ll give you all the money I’ve got!

In John 14:2 Jesus comforts his twelve disciples by saying: “There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come get you, so that you will always be with me where I am” (John 14.2).

These frightening creatures would also leave you alone if you dressed like them and thus appeared to be one of them. The Christian Feast of All Saints transpired as a result of the many martyrs who died for their faith in Jesus Christ due to the persecutions of the Roman State against the Church. The most renowned of these were honored locally by the preservation of their relics and by the celebration of the anniversary of their death, as a feast in honor of their birth into eternal life.

Jesus was the fulfillment of the law, lived in obedience to the law and taught obedience to the law. He knew that in order for us to touch the heart of God, or even diligently stretch out our imperfect fingertips toward God, we must be obedient to the Law. Jesus’ Interpretation of the Law Jesus spent a great deal of His time interpreting the law for us.

But Jesus came in fulfillment of the law. Jesus walked on both avenues of the Law. He took the first avenue by living a life in absolute obedience to the Law. He was God manifested in the flesh. God became as a man and lived perfectly, because there was no sin within Him. On the first avenue, Jesus fulfilled the law, by living in obedience to its demands.

God is the Father to all who place their faith in Jesus Christ. “For you have not received a Spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a Spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, Abba! Father! The Spirit himself testifies with our Spirit that we are children of God” (NASB Ro.

While contrasting the attitudes, and results of Jesus in the Bible, with the attitudes and results of Satan in the book Paradise Lost I discovered many comparing themes. The attitudes of Jesus that we find in the Bible are great examples for us all on how to live our lives, compared to the attitudes of Satan, whose life we may not want to follow in an example. Always when we understand Jesus’ true character, we find that Satan’s true character is the exact opposite of His.

Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God”.

There are many similarities in the teachings of Jesus and Buddha. Most are discussed specifically in their sermons. With Christianity the sermon was called “Sermon on the Mount”. Jesus went up a mountainside and spoke to his disciples and the crowds of people. It stated the right ways for us to approach God and to deal with other people.

During the Sermon on the Mount Jesus proclaimed that people should put on God’s holiness. He taught the people of the very character of God. Jesus taught the law as the covenant between God and man and as the way to God. Jesus does not interpret the law as the Pharisees did which sought to enslave the people within a heavy yoke, which they were always unable to bear.
